Tomorrow Is The Last Day Of Winter

My Money Trees
I had to take a photo of my Money Trees in my garden. In all I have 4 and 2 of them are flowering. I haven't done anything to them nor fed them anything special. I don't even recall watering them that much.
Other than in photos I don't think I have ever seen one in flower. We grew these in the UK but in pots and inside. I don't think they could survive the UK Winter but here in Australia mine are growing at an alarming rate.
I feel like shouting - "look Mum, my money tree has flowers" LOL.

Our New Fire
Winter is starting to kick in here in Australia. All we had for heating is a reverse cycle air conditioner. Took ages to warm up and then on occasions felt as if it was blowing cold air. This wasn't the only problem. During the Winter months our quarterly bill was almost $800 and with them putting electricity up by 20% as of 1st July, I say no more.
We splurged out on a beautiful gas fire. In the end it cost us $3,750 but over the years it should save us some $$$$ in heating charges. The best of all it is so toasty warm and looks great. I am totally in love with it, never before have I been so excited about a fire. The model - A Rinnai Freestanding Royale ETR and runs on our bottled gas.
The controls have a timer setting on it too so we can set it to come on ½ an hour before we wake up and ½ an hour before we get home from work.
Looks like the hub and dogs are pleased with it too!!!

It's Getting Cold In Australia
Well that is it with the pool. No more until at least, maybe, October.
Temperature has been down to zero on some days and cars are covered in frost.
It gave us a chance to try the chiminea out (how on earth do you spell that word!). Even 2 of the dogs joined it.
