After consulting a few people we came to the conclusion that she was moulting. What we woke up to Sunday morning was such a shock.
Firstly we saw this tiny still body, wrapped in fur, in her litter tray. Then the worst - a head. Ewwwwwwwww!
We searched frantically through her make shift nest and found 3 more alive. Joy! Now she has a lovely cozy homemade nest from a shoe box.

Fingers crossed, these little ones survive. Only problem is now we keep finding them on the bottom level of the hutch which means they have rolled down themselves. None of them have their eyes open yet so they may have been searching for Mum by smell.

Wow, what an amazing discovery! I hope the poor little darlings will thrive and do well.
