Creation Flop Is Reborn

Well I removed the big ugly wire wrapped pendant, saved the chain and popped the lovely moonstone briolette back on with a few strands of sterling silver chain. Then oxidised the silver to give it that dark, lustful look.
I love it. I can honestly say this is one handmade necklace I am quite proud of.

Creation Flop

I could scream. My last creation took almost a week and a mass of sterling silver wire. I am so upset with it. All I can say is I hate it, it's crap. This is not what I dreamed it would turn out like.
Son didn't like it but hub was pleased with it. I can't help but hate it!
What a downer! I have made some weird things in my life but this beats it hands down.

Practicng My Wirework And Wire Wrapping

I really enjoy working with wire but I have so many problems getting it right. Could this be due to the fact that I am left handed and find that when I look at instructions I have to imagine them the other way around. Or could it be that I am just a dumb blonde after all!!!
This is what I have been working on this weekend, in between doing housey things, nursing a cold and feeling absolutely poopy.I must say I am quite pleased with the outcome. I have seen so many great wireworkers and their wraps are awesome. Just look at this from Shazzabeth.
Isn't this absolutely stunning.

OK Blues Over, What About Green?

My FMG order arrived and I must have spent a day fondling the beads. What I did buy I haven't used before and thats Celestial Crystals.
But I still had to add a Swarovski crystal to the earrings.
Mmmm I like!!!

Don't know why but I went for peridot, olive and frosted green. Putting the peridot with antiqued brass findings really gives that vintage feel. Check them out. Cool eh?
These items should be for sale in my store shortly.
