Wow It's been a long time!

I cannot believe it has been over a year since my last post.  Time flies.

What have I been up to?

Well I got an addiction to photography. Took a course to improve my jewellery photos and lost the way. Or should I say gained a new addictive hobby.

I have also, after many years of debating, set up my own Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/designsfromtheheart

I am hoping to find more time to update everyone of my new designs and my travels around my area.

Now This Is Just So Funny

Most of you guys know what pain in the backside it is when you have to take pics and edit to be able to list your handmade creations in your Etsy store.

Today I completed another gorgeous Amber necklace and earrings and whilst taking the pic for the earrings this is what my dogs were doing, in tandem. How on earth my camera focused on them and not what I was actually taking a pic of has baffled me!

My Photograph Was Chosen

I was so excited this morning to receive an email from Emma Williams at the Schmap Sydney Guide. I was informed a few weeks ago that my photo had been short listed and was asked if I minded it being published if I was lucky. If you click on the link above you will see my photograph of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House under it.

The other thing I noticed was that if you clicked on the picture it actually takes you to my Flickr site. How cool is that.
