If you are using nylon beading thread (Nymo for example) and large beads size 8/0 and above, double thread is usually better than single for keeping tension correct.Chrisbeadshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10065122548112466675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9133236493208619337.post-48596358556098020982011-04-11T19:07:05.749+10:002011-04-11T19:07:05.749+10:00Ah, seed beads... I have to use this miniscule crochet hook and squint til I get the bead over the stitch. Not my favorite thing to do, but the finished product does look nice. :)Joyunahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14452257932375803961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9133236493208619337.post-90394099668080952712011-04-09T12:01:01.006+10:002011-04-09T12:01:01.006+10:00To keep my tension correct, I "snap" the...To keep my tension correct, I "snap" the thread at the end of every row. Grab it with your hand and gently yank a few times. Also, to keep my starter row even, I slide an ultra-thin quilting needle inside the holes of the row. Keeps everything so nice and tidy!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9133236493208619337.post-90380225153804074122011-03-22T09:33:29.243+11:002011-03-22T09:33:29.243+11:00Always interesting to learn something new.
